This vintage Lux miniature clock is referred to as a “bobbing bird” clock. (See video!) These novelty clocks, from the American Lux Company, feature key wound, spring movements. As such they are not truly serviceable. This model, which includes the key, is at least seventy years old and should be treated as such.
Lux miniatures are highly collectible and unique looking. This example is a fine one!
