Cuckoo Clock Repair

We always begin by inspecting the movement and bellows. If there are no apparent issues,  the movement is cleaned and oiled for a set fee of $99

*****Cleanings are just that and as such, cannot be warranted.

Music box clocks are an additional $55 to assess, clean, and re-adjust.

NOTE - Clocks with movable parts are adjusted for an additional $10 per part.

Bellows (cuckoo whistle noise) are also inspected. If they have no tears, they are left alone. If they are torn I will recover the whistles at your discretion, for $40

We ask to keep the clock for at least a week to assess and confirm that it works as it should.All other repairs will be assessed and priced on an individual basis.

If issues are apparent, the movement and bellows can be rebuilt and / or replaced, with your permission.

 
These Options Are :

$229 - rebuild your movement, which is stripping it down to its parts, cleaning and smoothing the pivots, and bushing all the worn plate holes back to specification. **This does not include the cost of any necessary replacement parts.

$299- get an exact replacement movement installed, brand new from the factory, by availability. Currently, Regula movements are still in manufacture, and some Hubert Herr movements can be found, though their factory is closed. The new movement comes with a 2 year factory warranty.  (Exceptions will be discussed on an individual basis).

***Any parts to the music box and it’s features that need repair and/or replacement would be additional cost and discussed with customer at time of work.                                   

 We maintain constant contact with you during these processes and send you photos and videos of your clock during its servicing. 

Customer pays for the cost of shipping and return.

NOTE : There is a credit card processing fee of 2.5% for repairs.
