Collection: New Black Forest Cuckoos - Chalet

We proudly offer Black Forest Cuckoo Clock Association certified new cuckoos. This means that all our offerings are made to order within the Black Forest region of Germany, following traditions and guidelines that ensure their continued quality.

Chalet cuckoos feature the distinctive sloped roofs of the chalet homes in the Alps region. These clocks often feature the details, landscapes, animals, and old fashioned lifestyles of these regions.  

All feature a cuckoo bird that emerges from the door to cuckoo once at the half hour, and the number of times for the hour. Some feature music boxes and dancer platforms.

All these cuckoos are shipped from Germany and come with a two year warranty. The cost of shipping from Germany is included in the final price.

Local pickup is therefore not an option for new clocks. Please allow a minimum of two weeks for delivery.

NOTE : Clocks shipped from Germany may be subject to import taxes / duties upon arrival in the US. The customer will be responsible for this upon delivery. We have no control over this decision or prior knowledge of when it may be levied. It is not a common event but it can occur.

Each clock is hand carved and hand painted (when applicable) and will vary slightly from the pictures shown. This includes variation in size of clock. Additionally your clock may not have all features depicted in photo. Please read descriptions carefully and ask any questions.

All musical clocks, clocks with moving parts, and clocks with eight day movements have night shut off switches, wooden hands, and a wooden cuckoo bird.  
Night shut off switches, wooden cuckoo birds, and wooden hands can be added to clocks for a small fee.
