This is a fine example of a beautiful hand carved Black Forest Cuckoo Clock. It is a eight day movement and features a carved bird on top and two feeding birds (non moving) on the main trim.
It is in fine working condition.
This clock was made in 1978 and retains its original movement, stamped 78.
Note :
The last two photos show how the top mounts to the roofline. This is the older style with hook and eyelets. There are two small pins/nails that come out of the front of the roof that locate in the topper (small holes) the eyelets should be above the roofline and then when you have the small nails in the holes on the topper, turn the hooks into the eyelets gently.
All cuckoo clocks should be hung and tilted on the wall until they are in beat, never use a level. This is not the correct way to set your clock up.
