This is a fine example of a beautiful, hand carved Black Forest Cuckoo Clock. It is a eight day movement, from the late 70s -early 1980s, with a well carved bird on top and two small nesting birds on the main trim.
It is in fine working condition.
The movement was removed, inspected, cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner, and then reinspected. The movement was rebuilt with new bushings in all worn areas this month (9/25) and tested.
It is a larger clock. The clock also features a night shut off where you can turn the cuckoo sound off if you would like.
**There is a hairline crack in the right leaf shown in the photo that was a previous repair and is solid and not really noticeable unless pointed out. Very small chip on roof, in the rear wall facing.
Like all 8 day movements, this clock has an excellent sound.
