This is a fine example of a 1981 Schneider Black Forest Cuckoo Clock. It is a eight day movement with a beautifully carved bird on top and two opposing birds on the main trim.
The movement was removed, inspected, cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner, and then reinspected. The movement was rebuilt with new bushings in all worn areas this month (5/25) and tested.
There is a hairline crack shown in two photos in the listing. (It is the same hairline front and back) It is solid with no movement and was most probably repaired at some point. It is barely noticeable if at all when on the wall. The case was cleaned and polished.
It has been tested for several weeks and is ready to run in your home.
