This is a large, 15 inch cuckoo, with an impressive,deep cuckoo sound.
The movement is stamped with its manufacture year, 1981. As part of the restoration, the time drive wheel was replaced.
The case was oiled and polished, revealing a unique, multi tone quality to the wood. There is a small crack at the top of the trim (see photo) that was repaired by a previous owner.
