This one day cuckoo clock hails from the later 1950s-1960s. It’s Hubert Herr movement has been completely rebuilt and the bellows were redone.
It is a well running clock and a fine example of German craftsmanship in the post war era.
It has been custom painted in an “antique” style with tones of white, sky blue, and pink, save for the where the chains are pulled, to prevent wear and the back of the clock, where there is also a sticker from one the clock was originally purchased (at a store called Snyder’s for $16.95!)
