This is a traditional one day cuckoo, circa 1960s, that has the added surprise of a music box. At the half hour, only the cuckoo bird emerges. At the hour, the “music man” emerges and a song is played after the cuckoo chimes. The song is entitled, “Fledermaus,” or “The Bat,” from a Strauss operetta.
This clock is beautifully painted and in excellent condition. Its movement has been completely rebuilt.
